You bought the best wax. You deserve the best fire.

Let's be blunt: You wouldn't drive a sports car with flat tires, so stop treating your high-end Aromatic Forgings like cheap convenience store wax. If you want maximum scent throw and minimal chimney soot, you need the right tools.

Introducing the Black Steel Discipline Kit. These are not your grandmother's ornate gold tools; this is rugged, black stainless steel gear built for performance and durability. This set ensures your complex Grit & Wick blend burns clean, hot, and exactly the way it was designed.

Why You Need This Kit (Stop Ruining Your Investment):

  • The Trimmer (Enforce Discipline): Every candle needs military precision. The trimmer enforces the $1/4 \text{ inch}$ rule to prevent mushrooming and ugly black smoke that ruins your expensive wax.

    • Wick Application: Cotton & Hemp Wicks (Cleans off the soft, mushroomed ash) and Wooden Wicks (Snips off the charred, brittle top for a clean, crackling start).

  • The Snuffer (The Clean Kill): Stop blowing out your flame like an amateur, scattering hot soot and ash all over your furniture. The snuffer suffocates the fire instantly, cleanly, and without effort. It’s the silent, clean-kill solution.

  • The Dipper (The Master Move): The ultimate flex in candle care. Use the dipper to gently push the lit wick into the molten wax, extinguishing the flame without any lingering smoke. It simultaneously coats the wick, priming it perfectly for the next burn. This is how adults finish a session.

Stop settling for ugly, sooty jars. Upgrade your self-respect and your ambiance immediately.

Grit & Wick: Handle with extreme competence.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

These aren't your average fruity candles—treat them with the respect they deserve to ensure a long life and maximum throw.

General Maintenance & Safety (The Rules)

  • The First Burn: This is the most crucial step. When you first light your candle, allow the entire top surface of wax to melt completely to the edges of the container. This usually takes 2-4 hours, depending on the size. This prevents "tunneling" (where the wick burns straight down the middle) and ensures the candle burns evenly for its lifetime.
  • Wick Trimming (The Must-Do): Before every single burn, trim the wick to 1/4 INCH (about 6 mm). Use a wick trimmer or nail clippers. A long wick causes mushrooming, black smoke, and fast burning.
  • Burn Time Limit: Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning longer overheats the container and burns off the fragrance oil too quickly.
  • Stop Point: Discontinue use when only 1/2 INCH (1.2 cm) of wax remains at the bottom. Burning past this point can lead to the glass overheating or cracking.
  • Placement: Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials (like curtains or papers).
